He was born in Cremona in 1987. In 2006, at the young age of 18, he graduated from the International School of Violin Making under the guidance of Maestros Luca Bellini and Massimo Ardoli. Immediately after he entered the workshop of Maestro Stefano Conia to perfect his construction technique. He opened his own workshop in 2009 and became a member of the Consorzio Liutai Antonio Stradivari and a member of the Associazione Liutai Italiani. Currently, he works in his workshop in the shadow of the cathedral in Piazza Sant Antonio Maria Zaccaria.

In the last few years he has developed a personal style characterized by harmonious arching and elegant lines that make his instruments fulfilling to both eye and ear. One of his characteristics is also the best choice of wood, always aged to guarantee the top quality of sound.

In 2019 he participate in the International Violin Making Competition Postacchini-Riccucci and gets the second prize with the violin on the professional category.

He mainly uses models from the classic Cremonese school and of his own personal design. He makes both new and antiqued instruments.
