A respected violin maker, restorer, and mentor based in Cremona, Italy, Maestro Bertrand has been making annual visits to Malaysia since 2012, generously sharing his expertise with the local violin-making community. His mentorship has played a significant role in the development of violin making in Malaysia, guiding and inspiring many makers throughout their professional journeys.
The impact of Maestro Bertrand’s guidance can be seen in the achievements of numerous Malaysian violin makers who have gained recognition on the international stage. Behind every successful maker is a mentor whose support and knowledge help shape their path.
